Bio Eric Jackson Influenced by the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Muddy Waters, and BB King, Eric Jackson began playing open mic’s throughout New Hampshire and Upstate New York at the age of 14. Having handled a guitar for three short years he played the blues as if he were born with a guitar in his hands. It wasn’t long before his peers took notice and were saying things like, “This kid can play better than anyone twice his age.” Not satisfied with simply playing the blues Eric began to sing the blues as well.

Bored covering other artist’s music and influenced by Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Keller Williams, Dave Matthews and others Eric sharpened his pencil and started writing. Armed with his own music and style Eric continues to perform on a regular basis throughout New England, occasionally with other musicians. As an artist, Eric has matured his playing style into something truly his own. Through his music, Eric portrays the harsh reality of love and the irony of human thought. He also enjoys introspective songs, questioning his actions and thoughts, as well as those of others. Not only is he praised for his raw talent, but the beautiful, simple, construction of his songs and lyrics. On stage he’s alive and real; he pours it all for everyone to hear, feel, and see.

Having completed his first demo Eric is hard at work preparing to return to the studio to record his first full length CD. When asked, what’s next? Eric says, “I have hundreds of songs on paper and more in my head, I wish there were more hours in the day”. That  sums it up, there’s no doubt you’ll be hearing and seeing more of Eric in the future!
